MESSAGE FROM THE DIRECTORS

CONTINOUS AND PROGRESSIVE GROWTH FOR 24 YEARS

We welcome you to our new website designed specifically to reflect our new image and identity.

As you will be aware, this College started in the year 2000 having been registered initially as Pope John Paul II College Gulu. A lot has happened since that day on 20 March 2000 when the school first opened its gate to only five students and eight teaching staff!

In 2014, our patron John Paul II was canonized thereby triggering the name change for the College.

We are grateful to inform you that in July 2017, the Ministry of Education and Sports (MOES) officially certified the change and in May 2018, the Uganda National Examination Board officially gave us a new centre (No. U3653), bearing the new name of St. John Paul II College Gulu.

To crown it all, the Archbishop emeritus of Gulu His Grace Rev Dr. John Baptist Odama officially launched the new college name on 15th April 2018.We are grateful to all of you – the past students, current students, teaching and support staff, school administration, Board of Governors, parents and all stakeholders  for the momentous journey we continue to travel together.

As we celebrate our 24th Anniversary, this year, all of us must remember that we are making these efforts for our children. They are the reason we are here.
