Culture & Entertainment, we are blessed to have students from all over the country, that is, Northern Uganda, West Nile, Central Uganda, Eastern Uganda and Western Uganda. We also have international students from South Sudan, Ethiopia, Kenya, etc. The cultural diversity in the college is really great and can be seen during the cultural gala, an event held in the second term, that has different tribes and cultures showcase their culture through dance and drama. The overall winning class is awarded a huge trophy and a goat to feast on. The patron, Mr. Nyeko Ceaser, during the next cultural gala, will encourage members of staff to dress up in their cultural wear, and introduction of more cultural dances from different regions, example Kinyankore, to add on the already existing cultural dances, example. Bwola, Lacuku cuku, Myel Lyel, Laraka raka, Mure(Madi), Dinka, Kiganda.
Scripture Union
This is a Christian family and is open for all Christians in the College. Its major role is to indoctrinate Christianity in the members of the College, especially learners. The club deals with training of learners in Christian affairs such as; Bible studies, ushering, leading of service and mass, interpretation of readings & preaching during service and mass, how to handle church treasury, church leadership. Other activities involve, training of members on how to use music instruments, e.g. Piano, guitar, and also training the choir. The chaplain is Rev. Aber Caroline assisted by the patron and the leaders. The Scripture Union is there to help learners prepare for sacraments of initiation to Christianity.
RELIGIOUS AFFAIRS
Religious affairs is all about the faith of children, growing in the faith in all the denominations. We do not discriminate, we care for all the Christians and non-Christians so that all grow in the faith as God fearing children.
Religious affairs shapes morals of children and brings together all the children because a place without God is a mess. We normally call the shepherds; priests and they deliver the message (the good news) to the community of the college. For example, in a catholic church, we have a full mass, in the Anglican church, we have service, every Sunday and they are both led by the ordained people. The priests and reverends get help from the catechists, patrons, and teachers.
All this is done to make students encounter with Jesus who is the reality of everything, who is the answer to everything.
